Resources
DEA is now requiring all physicians to have an additional 8 hrs of training in substance abuse and opiod addiction.
The 8 hours don’t have to be all at once. This needs to be done before you renew your license.
Dr. Nevins reported that TOURO is working on modules that will satisfy this requirement. The modules
will be done by the end of July. The STMF website also offers modules that will satisfy this requirement.
You will not be able to receive CME.
